Springtime

The weather has been perfect so we have been spending as much time outside as possible. Yesterday we took pictures at our favorite park. We go there everyday but it is especially fun when Aunt Ashley come with us.

Talkative

Curt's best way to get Ian to sleep is to sing to him and Ian loves it - but for the past couple of days everytime I put him to bed he starts singing himself to sleep. It is this really sweet ahhhhhh, ahhhhhhh, ahhhhh or mmmmnnn. I wish I could post a sound bite for everyone to hear.

Anyway - the best part is he started saying mamamamama (but only when he is sad or wants to be picked up - but I don't care - I love it anyway). I love him.

Part of Ian's night night routine....before the singing begins

Pool side

Since none of our friends could meet us at the pool yesterday we decided to have a little pool party of our own. Here is Ian in (and trying to get out of) his new baby backyard pool that grandma clay bought him.

Afterwards he was so sad that he had scooted himself backwards underneath the TV cabinet (isn't he getting so blonde?).

Back in business

Actually not really - but Ashley came over with her laptop so I can post some pictures. Here we are having a picnic at the National Arboretum today.

Here Ian and Ash are at the Japanese gardens...

Thing we love about Ian this week:

  1. His one little tooth on the bottom
  2. His Teradactyl dinasaur scream when he wants something
  3. The fact that he LOVES being naked in the warm weather
  4. The fact that he loves my vitamin water and hates his baby juice (in fact he doesn't really get the sippy cup concept at all)
  5. Eating grass in the park
  6. Pushing up on his hands but only scooting backwards (usually under the bed or the tv cabinet)

More Spring Flowers

Hi, it's Aunt Ashley. Until Amy and Curt get their computer back there's no way for them to post. That means posting is up to me. Its a big responsibility, I know, but we're going to keep it short and sweet.

The first stop of the day was the National Art Gallery. There were some very pretty flowers in the lobby but Ian was distracted by the fountain in the middle. I think he wanted to go for a swim.

After a quick stop at home for a afternoon nap we decided to go to the Botanical Gardens. Ian and I had never been before. We both really liked the Orchid exhibit.

Broken computer

Our computer is broken so no blogging lately - but my mom, dad and camille were visiting this weekend and I have to post some of the cutie cute pictures (on Ashley's computer).

Here we are at the cherry blossoms.
