Ian rode every ride that he could. We didn't leave the park until it closed and he was crying to ride more.

Jamesy Adder
This is Ian's new nickname for everyone. Jamesy Adder. Mommy Adder. Daddy Adder. I kind of think it might be mean because when I ask him what it means he says "garbage truck" and when I call him Ian Adder he gets really mad.
Today James is 7 months.
Today James is 7 months.
- 17.4 lbs
- 27.5 inches
- He laughs at everything. My hair brushing his face. the person behind me smiling at him. playing peek-a-boo.
- He won't eat ANYTHING from a spoon. But he'll eat anything he can hold in his hand.
- He pushes up on his hands and sometimes pulls his knees up a little. And somehow always ends up several feet from where I put him down - probably from rolling and scooting backwards.
- He got his first haircut this week - i cut off his mullet in back.

The 4ther
I wasn't sure that you could actually have fun on the 4th of July without being at the lake - but it turns out that you can. We went to the Barker's for a fabulous BBQ.
I made a flag cake.
James dove for Amber's italian soda so many times she finally gave him the straw.
Maggie was born two weeks after Jamesy. They love each other.
But not nearly as much as these two. Ian and Josie are BFFs. They get along perfectly - even when there are tons of other kids around they are in their own little world, playing and teaching each other their naughty habits (Josie taught ian to write all over himself and ian taught josie how to pee outside - lovely).
Brooke - Josie's mom and hostess extraordinaire.
I don't think I have ever lived in a place where fireworks are legal. It was so crazy - people letting off big fireworks every couple of houses. Tons of noise and fireworks in every direction.
Here are James and Curt watching.
And Cory helping Ian hold a shooting something or other.
Amber, Brooke and some of the kids watching the show.

The Andersons
The Andersons have been here for a week and we have been doing lots of fun stuff with them. Julie and Eric are super laid back and fun to hang out with and Olivia is %100 darling. I can't believe we have been missing out on her for so long.
On Saturday we did a hike in the morning. It went to a beautiful waterfall that we somehow didn't get any pictures of.
Sunday Olivia and Ian played on the slip and slide in Grandma and Grandpa's back yard. It was a pretty cool set up on the hill with three extra tarps to slide on.
Olivia and Ian thought it was awesome to slide tackle each other.
Lindsay is the FUN aunt.
The rest of us sat around and watched.
