Grandpa Leonard's Birthday
is the best because it is on April Fool's Day so we always get to make him some kind of silly treat. Yesterday we made him "sushi" out of pound cake and candy. Ian had the whole scenario playing out in his head all day about how he would give him the plate of sushi for dinner and then Grandpa would take a bite and say "this isn't sushi - it is candy!"

You are so creative!
That is a cute idea for sushi. I made some one time in DC for school with rice krispy treats and fruit leather strips with worms in the center. The kids loved it.
